Cairo, Luxor and Aswan in 6 days

Day 1: Welcome to Egypt 

• The ancient city of Cairo is glad to welcome its guests! In order to move on to the most interesting part of the journey as quickly as possible, you will be met by our employee who will help you deal with documents. When you are ready, our representative will take you to your hotel for check-in with all your belongings in Cairo. There we will discuss the details of our excursions.

Day 2: Cairo (Pyramids, Saqqara and Memphis) 

• After a delicious breakfast at the hotel where you are staying we will go to the famous Pyramids of Giza, known for their antiquity and monumentality!
• We will visit the Great Pyramid of Khufu, which more than four and a half thousand years old! We will also visit the Tomb of Mersankh III, a place of extraordinary beauty. 
• Next, we will head to the Khafre and Mykaure Pyramids and then to the Great Sphinx and the Temple of the Valley.
• We are sure to visit the Papyrus Institute, where we will discover the secret of making papyrus scrolls, find out how this plant replaced paper in ancient times, and also visit a jewellery shop and a perfume factory.
• We are going to make a visit to the Step Pyramid of Saqqara. This landmark is also known by another name – the step pyramid of Djoser, named after the pharaoh, who ordered to build such a monumental structure. 
• In the end, we will see Memphis, which is a landmark city for understanding the history of Ancient Egypt! The City of Kings and the first capital of the Old Kingdom.
• After our long tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel where you will gain strength before the day in Aswan.

Day 3: From Cairo to Aswan

• In the morning we will head to Cairo Airport where we will board a plane to Aswan, which is an important part of our six-day tour. This city is located in the southern part of the country, on the east bank of the Nile. This ancient place will remain in your memory for a long time. 
• High dam. This place is significantly contributed to the growth of the Egyptian economy in the second half of the 20th century. 
• Nubian village. In this place we will get acquainted with the Nubian culture, and it is worth saying that Nubia, along with Egypt, was one of the largest civilizations in all of Africa.
• Botanical Island. At the end of the nineteenth century this island, located west of Elephantine, was handed over to Horatio Kitchener, commander of the Egyptian army. On his initiative, this place became a blooming botanical garden; plants from all over the world were brought here. 
• After the tour, we will transfer you to the hotel in Luxor, the trip will take about 3 hours, where you will stay overnight and have dinner.

Day 04: Luxor

• The temple complex of Karnak. It is the largest temple of worship, which was expanded and completed for many centuries by generations of Egyptian pharaohs. This place was of exceptional importance for ancient religious cults, and now it is one of the most famous attractions in all of Egypt.
• The Valley of the Kings has such a name as it is here that many generations of Egyptian pharaohs of the New Kingdom era are buried. This is a really mysterious and sacred place for the Egyptians; here we will visit 5 tombs.
• Luxor is also famous for the fact that two stone statues of King Amenhotep, known as the Colossi of Memnon, have been standing here for a very long time. 
• In the evening we will check out from the hotel where we are staying and board our flight to Cairo at Luxor airport, where our staff member will be waiting for us to accompany you to the hotel and help you with check-in.

Day 5: More Cairo

• We will head to Egyptian Museum. In this house of culture and history, the tourist will discover new pages in the history of Egypt, countless exhibits (about 250,000) are stored here, some of which are over five thousand years old! Only here you will immerse yourself in the material history of Ancient Egypt, see unique artefacts that amaze the imagination. 
• Then we are going to enjoy some beautiful religious buildings. Undoubtedly, we will see the Hanging Church and the Church of St. George. Another interesting place is the Citadel of Cairo, famous for a large number of monuments of material culture from different Islamic eras. And the last one is the Muhammad Ali Mosque.
• After a long and eventful day, we will head back to your hotel.

Day 6: Flight home

• After breakfast at your hotel we will accompany you to the Cairo airport, where our journey will come to an end.
