Cairo and Alexandria in 5 days

Day 1:

• Arrival in the capital of Egypt. You will be met at the airport by our representative who will guide you through customs procedures. He will then take you and your luggage to your hotel in Cairo in our luxury car. 

Day 2: Exciting Cairo

• In the morning you will be treated to a delightful breakfast at your hotel, followed by a fascinating tour of the capital.
• Learn a lot about the Pyramids of Giza! The Giza Pyramids complex is one of the Seven Wonders of the World. 
• You will see the Great Pyramid of King Khufu. This pyramid is very big and beautiful. A total of 2,300,000 blocks of limestone were used to build it.
• You will also be able to see the tomb of Mersankh III which was built from limestone. 
• You will also see the tomb of Mersankh III, wife of Chephren. You will also see the pyramids of Menkerin and Chephren.
• From the pyramids of Chephren we will go on camelback to the Sphinx and the Valley Temple. 
• Of course we will visit the Papyrus Institute where we will learn how papyrus was made in ancient times, then a perfume factory and a jewelry shop.  
• The Step Pyramid of Saqqara. It’s called also step Pyramid of Zoser or Josser, due to the King Zoser who ordered his minister Imhotep to build it, this pyramid consists of six-layers.
• Memphis Open air Museum. Memphis city is the ancient Egyptian city, it was the first capital of ancient Egypt.

Day 3: Alexandria sightseeing tour

• In the morning you will have breakfast and then go on a guided tour of the city's most famous landmarks. You will see: The Catacombs of Alexandria which are the largest and most important burial grounds in Egypt.
• The Pompeii Pillar. This is a triumphal monument erected around 300 AD by the Roman Emperor Diocletian.
• We will also visit the Citadel of Cait Bay. Here you will have a very beautiful view of the sea, and there are excellent restaurants with very tasty food.
• Another interesting attraction is the Library of Alexandria, which is the oldest library in the world.
• Next we will visit such a wonderful place as the Montaz Gardens. The palace is closed to the public, but the lush gardens around it are the perfect place for a stroll. 
• At the end of the day you will be taken back to your hotel.

Day 4: More Cairo!

• We'll visit the Egyptian Museum where you can see a rare collection of artefacts.
• We will also visit the Coptic churches in Old Cairo, including the Hanging Church, St George Church and Abu Serga Church.
• We will see Saladin's Citadel, which contains many monuments from various Islamic eras.
• We will see Mohammed Ali Mosque and Khan Elhali Market with our own eyes. 
• At the end of this exciting day, you will be taken back to your hotel.

Day 5: Fly home

• First breakfast at the hotel. Afterwards, check-out from the hotel and transfer to Cairo International Airport for final departure.
